I'm Emily, a former teacher (M. Ed.) turned private tutor and homeschool mom. I share resources and research findings to support homeschooling parents. From curriculum reviews to book recommendations, my goal is to make your homeschooling journey easier.
Parenting is no joke!! And teaching our own kids on top of that…well, let’s just say it can be challenging. So, I hope to help ease the burden by applying some of my own experience and enjoyment of research to help smooth the road for you! I have gleaned so much from other mamas who have gone before me, and I’m eager to bring you along on this exciting and crazy ride!
A bit more about me:
I am a Christian and especially love Bible studies written by Jen Wilkins and Nancy Guthrie.
My own K-12 education was a conglomeration of public school, private school, and homeschool.
I feel so blessed by my incredible husband and three adorable kids.
I taught piano for a decade, studied Latin in high school and college, and love to play piano and sing.
